Shadow Quality

Recommended: Medium · Visual impact: Low · Consensus: One of the best FPS-per-quality-lost trade-offs in the game; almost nobody notices the difference while playing.
+12% FPS

The dynamic shadows from the Forbidden West's dense vegetation and the robotic machines are among the heaviest settings for the GPU. Dropping from Ultra to Medium is barely noticeable in motion but frees up a good chunk of performance.

Level of Detail (LOD)
