Data we collect
Through the contact form on checkfps.io, we collect the following personal data: name, email address, subject, and message content. This data is provided voluntarily by the user when completing the form. The site also uses technical cookies that store the user's language preference (NEXT_LOCALE) and cookie consent preference (cookie-consent). Google Analytics is only activated if the user has given consent via the cookie banner.
Purpose of data processing
Personal data provided through the contact form is processed for the purpose of responding to enquiries, suggestions, or error reports submitted by users. Google Analytics cookies are used to analyse website usage in aggregate and anonymous terms, in order to improve content and functionality. Technical cookies are used to ensure the proper functioning of the website, store the user's language preferences, and remember the cookie consent decision. In the future, if Google AdSense advertising is integrated, advertising cookies may be used to display relevant ads based on browsing profiles, always subject to prior consent. No automated decision-making or individual profiling is performed with the data collected.

The legal basis for strictly necessary technical cookies is the legitimate interest of the controller in ensuring the correct functioning of the website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). The user may withdraw their consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent prior to its withdrawal.
Data retention period
Personal data provided through the contact form will be retained for a maximum period of 12 months from receipt, after which it will be securely deleted. Technical cookies have a maximum duration of 1 year. For further information about cookies, please refer to our Cookie Policy.
